For over 30 years the Idaho International Summerfest, formerly known as the Dance and Music Festival, has been a “must attend” event in the Northwest. Consistently ranked in the top five festivals in North America, “see just one and you’ll be hooked for life.”
An event the size and scope of the Festival can only happen if you get involved. With hundreds of participants coming from over six countries around the world we need plenty of help. The festival cannot be a success without the help of our local Host Families and Event Volunteers.
Tickets for the 2016 Summerfest event will go on sale in April. You will be able to order online here on this website, or via phone, or by stopping into the Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce office at 127 East Main in Rexburg, Idaho. Tickets purchased BEFORE June 20th will be mailed.

Rexburg, the “Youngest Community in the Nation” (as declared by the 2010 Census), will make that youth come alive this summer! After 29 years of hosting the world-famous Idaho International Dance and Music Festival, this year’s event will be a broader and more culturally interactive festival—the Idaho International Summerfest.
Every summer hundreds of performers from around the world descend on Rexburg. Dancers and musicians perform in various venues, from the Gala Performances to the Street Parade, Street Festival, youth culture classes and other events. There’s always dancing and singing in the streets, and new friendships and bonds created that have been known to last for decades.
In the past we have hosted nearly 300 different teams from 60 different countries. All right here in Rexburg, Idaho. We are truly ambassadors to the world.
Along with the traditional dance and music from around the world, this year’s Idaho Summerfest will showcase performers of all kinds and types. Summerfest will include many new events. This year’s festival targets youth and young families as well as our traditional audiences.
